Travel photos: Athens

Not at all what I expected, I visited just before the riots in 2008, Athens turned out to be a lot grittier and tense, with swathes of graffiti.

    Even so, I loved the ramshackle buildings and quirky signs. My favourite part was actually outside Athens, seeing the Corinth canal. There is something about the amazing stomach-churning proportions that amaze me!
