Wonderfully bright and colourful, I love to spot quirky combinations such as the flag, Mao and a bike!

    China has some of the richest and poorest people. The majority of the old houses shown here (in black and white) were being pulled down, soon to be replaced with ugly, characterless apartment blocks. Sadly this is the type of new slum home the majority of Chinese are now forced to live in.
