Alhough I have been to New York before, it was 10 years ago and the twin towers were still standing.

    This time I wanted to get to DUMBO, Ellis Island and up to Harlem. The main site I wanted to visit though was the High Line. An old derelict railway line on the Lower West Side, converted into a linear park with stunning natural planting, reminiscent of the old track-sides.

    Visiting in mid October was a wonderful time to see the fall and all the pumpkin decorations too.
