Travel Photos: Sri Lanka

Photographs taken during a week in Sri Lanka. Starting in the capital Colombo and Kandy for the temple of the tooth. Next the Pinnawala Elephant Sanctuary. Then high up into the hills to the tea plantations at Nuwara Eliya. Finally ending back by the sea at Negombo.

    Sri Lanka is beautiful and less manic than India, but without the entrepreneurial spirit of the Indians, I think that Sri Lanka will always be India's poor relation.
