Website Design for Chauffeur Driven Car Hire Company
A2B Local has five distinct strands to the business, so my design for the website had to show the five different areas from the very beginning. Using six squares I could allocate one division for each box, plus one to summarise the whole business.
The project has expanded from a previous business of just doing deliveries, so I could use some of my photographs from before on the new website. The client took some of the car shots. The rest of the photographs are from iStockPhoto library, that have been retouched as necessary. These will gradually be replaced when the funds allow. Using photo library shots is a great way to add to a website so long as there are some real photographs mixed in.
The majority of the pages contain forms to to request details. So it was important to make these not too dominant. The client wanted there to be no boxes at all, but I felt this was going to cause the text to float around too much. So I used a border on the bottom and right of each field to clarify the structure of the forms.
The background colours change for some of the sections to reflect their subject matter. Deliveries being orange (as before) and the wedding cars section being white.
