E-Commerce Website Design for Jeremy's Home Store
Jeremy's Home Store is a well-known Aladin's Cave of a shop in central Tunbridge Wells. Jeremy wanted an e-commerce website that reflected all the fun of the brightly-coloured shop.
I had already designed a lot of publicity material for Jeremy in the past so was able to update this and re-use the yellow duck and distinctive blue for the new website.
The navigation has hidden sub-categories that only show when you click on a category, but instead of collapsing again, they stay open making it much easier to choose related items within the same category of interest. This way the very wide range of items can be listed wihout the menu going way off the bottom of the page.
The website has links to Facebook of course, with "likes" buttons on all the products, that actually display the product in Facebook.
Each product has the facility to display up to five "upsell" items that can be any of the other products on the website. So for example selecting a Brabantia dustbin might show bin liners, cleaners, cloths and alternative bin sizes in the upsell section.
