Website Design for Chain of Furniture Stores
Maison has a huge range of furniture available, but most of the items are not on show in the store. The website and in-store iMacs displaying the website have enabled them to show the true diversity of their range. Customers can now view items in the store, get information, then read more about collections of matching products on the website at home.
I shot all of the location and details photographs, the majority of the the rest of the product shots are from manufacturers. All cut out to give a consistent look. The website is being continuously updated with new products and services. The latest version adds a wedding list service, four new collections of furniture and a mailing list database.
I suggested - and built - the mailing list database so that we can send out HTML emails to customers. This may eventually phase out the expensive printing of postal mail shots, as they can be sent out at a fraction of the cost and save the environment too.
