E-commerce Website Design for Childrens' Clothes

Olivia-Rose is an e-commerce website selling classic, traditional children's clothes for boys and girls, from new-born to toddlers.

    The site has all the features you would expect on an e-commerce site, but without any of the clutter usually found. I was careful to make items line up and make the site look as clean and simple as possible.

    The majority of the clothes photographs are from the suppliers', so cutting them out to a white background makes them all appear to come from the same stable.

    Adding new products and writing the text can all be done on-line from any browser using the admin pages of the website, making updates quick and practical for Olivia-Rose's mother.

    The panel of photographs headed Olivia's Favourites can be quickly altered to change the look of the whole page perhaps for Christmas or a new season of clothes.

    The little girl is the website's namesake Olivia-Rose, who came in with her mum for her first photosession. She now has a younger baby brother, so no doubt he will also feature on the website soon.

    I have recently added another feature where customers and friends who send in their photos, can see their own children wearing Olivia-Rose clothes. These are linked to the product page if the product is still available. Effectively upselling the products.

    When finances allow, the client would like to also add the facility for wholesalers to log in and place advance orders for products.
