Website Design for Chinese Antiques StoreWang Tong, the Chinese ownder of YiJu contacted me after seeing work I had done for another client with a store in the Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells. As the stock in her Chinese antiques shop changes so much it would be impossible for her to keep up to date images of every piece - it would also be far too expensive! We decided to photograph single items to represent each category of antiques. The visitor can then navigate to see other similar items. To give the antiques most prominence, I used a simple fine red rule to divide the sections. Plus a totally white background - not even a border. Which makes the website design simple, clean and fresh.
